This Privacy Policy explains how Majestic Kitchens & Decor ("we", "us", "our"), a modular kitchen and home decor showroom at 45, A.P. Colony, Gaya, Bihar 823001 (proprietor: Sangita Sinha), handles information in connection with our website majestickitchensanddecor.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The short version

• This Site is an online showroom and product catalogue. It does not run advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics cookies.
• The WhatsApp enquiry path stores nothing on our server: the Site simply opens WhatsApp (or your phone) with the details you typed, and you choose whether to send them.
• If you create an account or order online (a store feature still under construction), we do store your account and order details on our infrastructure, as described below; online payment is handled by our payment gateway, and we never store your full card details.
• A guest shopping cart is saved only in your own browser; a signed-in cart is saved to your account.
• The online store currently shows demonstration data, so any test order is not a real purchase.

Information we collect

Information you choose to give us

When you use the enquiry form, a product enquiry button, or the checkout form, the Site assembles the details you enter (such as your name, phone number, delivery address, product interest, and any message) into a WhatsApp message or a phone contact. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it. If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email, or in person, we receive and keep the information you share so that we can help you.

If you create an account or order online

The online store (under construction) lets you create an account and place an order. When you do, we store on our infrastructure (Cloudflare R2): your username and a securely hashed password (never plain text), your account-recovery codes (also hashed), the name, contact, and delivery addresses you add, your saved cart, and your order history. If you pay online, payment is processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay): you enter your card, UPI, or banking details on Razorpay's secure checkout, and we receive only a payment reference and the order record, never your full card details. We use this information solely to operate your account and to process, deliver, and account for your orders.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider may automatically log limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited) to keep the Site secure, available, and working correctly. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to remember the items in your shopping cart on your device (under the key mk_cart_v1), and session storage to show a short intro animation only once per visit. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. To understand how the Site is used, we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that counts visits without using cookies and without building a profile that identifies you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information you share to: respond to your enquiries; prepare quotations; recommend products; arrange measurement, delivery, and installation; provide after-sales and warranty support; keep records required for accounting and legal purposes; and improve our products and service. We process this information on the basis of your consent and to take steps at your request before and during a transaction.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:

• WhatsApp / Meta: if you contact us through the WhatsApp links on the Site, your message is delivered through WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's own privacy terms.
• Hosting, delivery, and analytics (Cloudflare): the Site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare, which may process technical logs for security and performance. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count visits; it does not identify you personally.
• Google Fonts and Google Maps: the Site loads fonts from Google's servers, and our "Get directions" link opens Google Maps. Google may receive your IP address or location through these services, under Google's privacy policy.
• Image delivery: some product and showroom images are served through third-party image services (such as Pexels). Your browser contacts those services to load the images, and they may receive your IP address for that purpose.
• Payment gateway (Razorpay): if you pay online, your payment is processed by Razorpay under its own privacy terms. You enter your payment details on Razorpay's checkout; we receive a payment reference and status, not your full card details.
• Brand partners and logistics: to fulfil an order, warranty claim, or service request, we may share the details necessary (such as your name, address, phone number, and the product) with the relevant manufacturer (for example Hindware, Kaff, or Sunflame), their authorised service network, or our delivery and installation partners.
• Legal: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you share with us only for as long as needed for the purpose it was given, and for any period required by tax, accounting, or other laws, after which we delete or anonymise it.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent, subject to applicable law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). To make a request, or if you have any privacy concern or grievance, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. However, no website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (such as Google Maps and WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites; please review their own policies.
